Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV)
The Hydro Instruments Pressure Reducing Valve is designed to safely reduce and control downstream gas pressure in chlorine and ammonia feed systems. By automatically closing when downstream pressure exceeds the setpoint, it helps prevent liquefaction, protects equipment from overpressure, and eliminates pressure fluctuations.
Available in both manual and electrically actuated models, these valves provide reliable performance for a wide range of applications. Electrically actuated units offer added safety with remote shutoff capability, automatically closing during power loss or alarm conditions.
Built with durable, corrosion-resistant materials and an easily serviceable trim capsule assembly, the PRV is engineered for long-term reliability and simple maintenance. An included external heater helps prevent condensation and corrosion in humid environments.
